Return & Refund Policy

Every Prakriti Sathi product is made by hand by skilled artisans, and we want you to love what you receive. If something is not right, this policy explains how we will make it right. Please read it before placing your order.

1. About Handcrafted Products

Because our bamboo, clay, handloom and other products are made by hand using natural materials, small variations are part of their character. Slight differences in colour, texture, size, weave, grain or finish between pieces, or between the photo and the product, are natural and are not considered defects. Colours may also appear slightly different depending on your screen.

2. Eligibility for Return or Replacement

You may request a return, replacement or refund within 7 days of delivery if:

  • The product arrived damaged or broken
  • The product has a manufacturing defect
  • You received the wrong product, size or colour
  • Items are missing from your order

3. Items We Cannot Accept for Return

  • Products that have been used, washed, altered or damaged after delivery
  • Products without original packaging, tags or accessories
  • Custom-made, personalised or made-to-order items
  • Items bought during clearance or final sale, where marked as non-returnable
  • Returns requested after the 7-day window
  • Change of mind, or minor natural variations described in Section 1

4. Damaged or Wrong Products: What We Need From You

Clay and bamboo items can be delicate in transit, and we pack them with care. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please help us process your claim quickly:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Share clear photos of the product and the outer packaging
  • Where possible, share an unboxing video showing the package being opened
  • Include your order number

Claims for transit damage made after 48 hours may not be accepted, as we may be unable to raise a claim with the courier.

5. How to Request a Return

  • Share your order number, the reason for the request, and photos or video where relevant
  • Our team will review your request and reply within 2 business days
  • If approved, we will arrange a pickup or share return instructions

Please do not send items back before your request is approved. Returns sent without approval may not be accepted.

6. Inspection

Once we receive the returned product, we will inspect it. If it meets the conditions of this policy, we will approve your replacement or refund. If it does not, we will let you know the reason and the product may be sent back to you.

7. Replacements

Where your product is damaged, defective or incorrect, we will offer a replacement first, subject to stock availability. If the item is out of stock or cannot be replaced, we will offer a refund.

8. Refunds

  • Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method.
  • Refunds are initiated within 5 to 7 business days of approval. Your bank or payment provider may take a few additional days to show the amount.
  • For Cash on Delivery orders, we will request your bank or UPI details to send the refund.
  • We will email you once your refund has been issued.

9. Shipping Charges

  • If the return is due to our error (damaged, defective or wrong item), we will bear the return shipping cost, and original shipping charges will be refunded.
  • For any other approved return, original shipping charges are non-refundable, and return shipping costs may be deducted from your refund.

10. Order Cancellation

You may cancel an order before it is shipped by contacting us as soon as possible. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled, but you may still request a return if it is eligible under this policy. Because our products are handmade, orders that are already in production may not be cancellable.

11. Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund within the timeframe above, first check with your bank or payment provider. If it still has not arrived, please contact us at info@prakritisathi.com and we will look into it.
